HelloGreeter — from blank screen to measurable content.

New York / SaaS AI content workflow / 2026

I helped HelloGreeter reduce the distance between a blank screen and useful, measurable business content.

Role

Feature strategy for a more approachable, business-aware AI content workflow.

Working with the HelloGreeter team, I proposed ways to make the platform feel less like an empty generator and more like a guided operating system for local business marketing.

The focus was not only better-looking AI ads. It was helping owners start faster, personalize output with real business context, and connect content to measurable customer actions.

01

Start

Give users useful first moves through sample ads and daily ideas instead of asking them to invent a prompt from nothing.

02

Personalize

Let businesses upload menus, dishes, interiors, exteriors, logos, and brand cues so AI generations reflect the actual place.

03

Act & measure

Turn signage, screens, and QR codes into action paths that can connect awareness to menus, websites, or tracked customer behavior.

The blank-screen problem

Ideas should act like prompts users can see.

I recommended positioning generated ideas as editable starting points. A restaurant owner should be able to open the dashboard, recognize a relevant concept, save it, turn it into video, or use it as direction for new content.

That makes the product feel less intimidating and helps users learn what “good input” looks like without reading a tutorial.

  • Daily ideas reduce blank-screen friction.
  • Cards become visible prompt examples.
  • Save and video actions create a next step.

Personalization layer

The user’s real business should become the creative reference.

I proposed that uploaded business photos, product photos, logos, and brand inputs should become a practical generation layer. Instead of asking AI to imagine a generic restaurant, the workflow can reference the actual space, food, storefront, and brand assets.

This gives the platform a stronger bridge between fast AI output and content that feels usable for a specific operator.

From content to action

QR codes can connect attention to measurable next steps.

I recommended treating QR codes as a practical bridge between physical visibility and digital action. For local businesses, signage can point people to a menu, offer, website, or ordering path while giving the platform a clearer way to understand what content is doing.

The screenshot here shows the QR area as an available product surface; the case study frames the strategic opportunity rather than claiming a completed analytics feature.

Connecting the ideas

The product becomes a loop.

Ideas help users start. Business inputs help the content feel specific. QR codes and action paths help the work move beyond content creation into customer behavior. Together, the workflow becomes a simple loop: generate, personalize, publish, learn.

My contribution

Product thinking from the creative edge.

  • Interpreted the platform experience through a small business owner’s workflow.
  • Proposed feature directions that made AI output feel more usable and less abstract.
  • Connected content generation to brand assets, real-world business references, and measurable action paths.

Outcome

HelloGreeter gained a clearer product story around helping local businesses move from idea generation to useful, brand-aware, action-oriented content.
