Timeline

Project Overview

KLYRO’s strategist provided a set of brand guidelines and persona directions, but no visual assets. The task was to create scroll-stopping online ads that matched KLYRO’s clean, clinical identity while highlighting specific pain points like bad breath, sensitivity, and confidence in professional settings.

Objective

  • Translate strategist guidelines into commercial-grade ad visuals
  • Produce imagery that reflects KLYRO’s minimalist, upscale aesthetic
  • Build photorealistic and persona-driven assets without a photoshoot or 3D render pipeline
  • Deliver ready-to-use ads optimized for social and performance campaigns

Role

  • Creative Direction – interpreting guidelines and shaping the visual narrative
  • AI Image Generation – producing custom photorealistic and stylized outputs
  • Graphic Design & Post-Production – Photoshop refinement, compositing, and final polish
  • Copy & Strategy Support – aligning headlines and text with persona pain points

Process

1. From Guidelines to Visuals
With only strategist notes, AI image generation was used to build:

  • Photorealistic product scenes in clean, modern environments
  • 3D-style character portraits to express emotions tied to oral care struggles
  • Variations for A/B testing across different persona scenarios

2. Brand Alignment
Every image was refined in Photoshop to ensure:

  • Packaging accuracy
  • Consistent lighting and composition
  • Integration of text overlays in KLYRO’s clean, minimalist voice

3. Persona Targeting
Ads were created to map directly to user pain points:

  • Discomfort in professional or social settings
  • Sensitivity and enamel protection concerns
  • Convenience for busy, health-focused professionals

Deliverables

  • A suite of static online ads designed for paid campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, Google Display)
  • Assets tailored to different personas for testing and optimization
  • Visuals polished to commercial quality, ready to deploy without additional production

Results

  • Guidelines transformed into campaign-ready creative without a photo shoot or 3D pipeline
  • Commercial-grade ad sets produced quickly and cost-effectively
  • Visuals built for testing and scaling across ecommerce performance channels
  • KLYRO gained a repeatable AI + design workflow for future product campaigns

Conclusion

This project showed how AI image generation and graphic design can translate abstract strategy into market-ready campaigns.

Working from strategist guidelines, KLYRO’s ad concepts became polished, persona-driven visuals that matched brand identity and ecommerce needs. By combining creative direction, AI, and design, it was possible to deliver ads that looked like full production shoots — but at a fraction of the time and cost.

The Winning Reel

The curated ad that drove Phase 2’s success worked because it focused strictly on surf culture, selling the lifestyle to viewers rather than forcing products into the frame. Its authenticity came from careful guidance, niche understanding, and staying true to the culture.

At the core, the surf community values high-quality action footage with skilled surfers while products remain secondary. The winning video embraced this principle. After the initial post showed high traction with more views, stronger engagement, and more likes than previous content (as planned), it was identified as the ideal candidate for amplification. Once performance data confirmed its momentum, budget was allocated to boost the post, further amplifying reach.

This reinforced the strategy: create content rooted in cultural authenticity, validate through organic activity, and then strategically invest in amplification to convert visibility into lasting community growth.
